Chewore - Leopard

Brent hunted in Chewore South out of Kachowe camp. He was on a 14 day leopard/buffalo hunt. Luckily sharing camp with Rich Tabor and Giovanni who were after lion. We were under no pressure for a leopard. With a lot of baits out already. We spent good time on bagging a good old buffalo for Brent. Taking various plains game during the hunt, namely impala, warthog and bushbuck. We had two big toms feeding at good hours. Blinds were up and a big tom came in at 5pm, perfect light. So opted to get Brent to take it. Even though we had a second option of another tom on bait. Unfortunately whilst recovering the leopard some lions got to it first. Besides the torrid lions, it was great hunting in Chewore South with Brent.
